Quality Assurance Manager

Mandy joined the team in December 2017. She is a Registered Nurse, having spent 37 years working in the NHS in a variety of roles including District nurse, Continence Advisor, Continuing Healthcare Assessor, Best Interest Assessor, Quality Monitoring Officer and Adult Safeguarding Lead. 

For the last 9 years of her career in the NHS, she has worked closely with care homes across Nottinghamshire in a Quality Monitoring & Assurance role, auditing and supporting homes in the quality of care delivery. She has worked closely with the CQC and Nottinghamshire County Council in this role and has gained a wealth of knowledge and expertise. She has worked within Commissioning most recently and has been involved in the setting up of processes for quality monitoring home-based care agencies as well as working with care homes and undertaking safeguarding enquiries. 

As Quality Assurance Manager, Mandy works alongside, the Directors, Central Team and Home Managers to examine the quality of care and the quality of life experiences of people living in the homes through the development, maintenance and scrutiny of robust quality assurance systems and processes
