Hello everyone!

I’m thrilled to be joining the Church Farm family and especially excited to be part of the fantastic expansion project at Skylarks. It’s an inspiring time to come on board, and I’m really looking forward to meeting the wonderful people who make this place so special – especially the families and loved ones of those we support.

I bring with me over 20 years of experience in health and social care, with a background in nursing and a real passion for dementia care. I’ve studied at Bradford University, where I completed both my BSc and MSc in dementia studies – something that continues to shape how I lead with empathy, understanding, and person-centred care.

For the past five years, I’ve been a registered home manager, and for the last three, I’ve overseen multiple care locations. One of the proudest moments of my career so far was helping one of my teams turn a "requires improvement" CQC rating into an outstanding one. That success wasn’t mine alone – it was a testament to the incredible compassion, dedication, and heart of the whole team. It’s a reminder of what’s possible when people come together with shared purpose and love for what they do.

Outside of work, I’m happiest in the garden or walking with my two cheeky dogs – Benjamin, a bouncy Springador, and Montgomery, a gentle golden retriever. They keep me on my toes and remind me daily of the importance of joy and connection – values I also carry into my work.

I’m genuinely excited about what lies ahead and can’t wait to get to know you all better. I’m especially looking forward to meeting new staff, family members, relatives, and the wider Church Farm community. Feel free to say hello or share a story—I’d love to hear it.
