🏆 Employee of The Month
We are thrilled to introduce our new Employee of the Month page, a dedicated space to celebrate the incredible individuals who make Church Farm Care so special. This feature highlights the outstanding contributions, compassion, and dedication of our team members who go above and beyond for our residents. It’s our way of giving credit where it’s due and sharing the heart of our home with our community. Be sure to check back each month to see who is in the spotlight!

Head of Learning and Development
Liz is an Adult Teacher/Trainer and Registered Nurse with over 30 years of experience in Elderly Care and Dementia Care. She started her nurse training in the 1980’s in Boston, Lincolnshire, quickly realising that her calling was Elderly Care. Since leaving the NHS she has worked in Nursing and Residential Care settings mainly around Newark and Lincoln, however, whether in the role of a Manager, Deputy or Nurse she has always shared the knowledge gained through her nursing experience, teaching and assessing qualifications or Train the Trainer courses. She has recently succeeded in updating her own knowledge by achieving a BSc (Hons) Health and Social Care.
Liz worked full time with Church Farm Care for 5 years from June 2016. During this time she strengthened our training ethos and approach and introduced new Health and Safety Executive registered First Aid Courses and developed a framework for assessments of competency, whilst ensuring at the heart of all the training is the person centred care of the people living in our homes.
Liz is facilitating our new carers' support groups at our social hub located at Rusticus in Cotgrave.
